Meet The Team
“Removing healing-blocks gives life quality.”
This simple statement sums up Dr. Winters mission in his practice as well as his personal life.
Dr. Winters' own journey to health has given him the passion to lead others to the same goal.
Though it may sound like a cliche, Dr. Winters truly did learn the value of hard work while growing up on a farm in Northwest Iowa. He also played college football during his freshman and sophomore years. However, after taking a daily antibiotic for acne during those first college years, his health steadily declined. Fatigue set in to the point that he lost his position on the football team. Brain fog took this A/B student to a C/D status for the first time ever. Some days even the simple act of sitting up in bed caused severe dizziness. He had no choice but to drop out of school.
Medical physicians could not diagnose his problems, but a trip to the chiropractor proved to be much more successful. After regular chiropractic adjustments, changes in his diet, and the addition of nutritional supplements, strength began to return to his body.
It was a slow road to recovery, but Dr. Winters desired for others in his situation to ï¬nd recovery as well. When he was able to return to school, he enrolled in Palmer College of Chiropractic and graduated at the top of his class.
After learning of a distant chiropractor relative in Paducah, Kentucky, Dr. Winters came for a visit and never left the area. He has been in practice at his current location since 1987.
In 2001 he married his beautiful wife Debbie, who has become an invaluable asset to their clinic in both administrative and chiropractic arenas. Dr. and Mrs. Winters attend an average of six seminars each year in order to remain at the forefront of progress in the field of chiropractic and total body health.
Dr. Winters has studied under the tutelage of wellness physicians such as Dr. John Brimhall (Six Steps to Wellness), Dr. Tedd Koren (Koren Specific Technique) and Dr.Dan Pompa (Cellular Healing Diet).
Though Dr. Winters has been in practice for over 20 years, his passion for learning new techniques has never diminished. It is not only his belief in wellness chiropractic that keeps him motivated. He truly desires to see others recover from disease and illness.
Watching his own mother battle Alzheimer's disease in a nursing home ignites a fire inside him to spread this message of health and wellness to the people of Paducah and around the world.
